My name is Daniel Fernandez. I am an experienced forex trader and programmer. Our Goals

Teaching To New Members

For me, one of the most important goals in Asirikuy is the building of knowledge and understanding and the communication of this understanding to aspiring traders (new members). Asirikuy is alike a "trading university" a place where new traders can come and learn from experienced traders based on an already built and estbalished understanding which is based entirely on testeable evidence. Asirikuy's main goal - besides the building of understanding - is to communicate this understanding effectively to new members. Asirikuy is a "breeding ground" for new algorithmic traders, a place where aspiring traders can have their questions answered through an argumentative method based entirely on statistical evidence; a place where these traders can then contribute and help us build more understanding and knowledge to take our trading to the next level. In Asirikuy we build a road based on evidence and we help new members walk across it. The road never ends and the building of new paths (and rebuilding of old ones!) is always taking place.

Long Term Profitable Trading

More than anything, the Asirikuy website focuses on the achievement of long term profits in the forex market using automated trading systems. Our main goal is to achieve this objective. To have systems which achieve new equity highs periodically, adapting to changing market conditions to achieve these objectives. We want to develop an arsenal of systems which allows us to build a very wide variety of portfolios in order to tackle any targeted level of risk aversion. Our goal is to build strategies which tackle different aspects of the market, to have strategies on many time frames, on many instruments and to be able to build portfolios with them to have a high chance of achieving very good trading results.

To explore new trading methodologies

Another important goal for Asirikuy is the exploration of new trading tactics which enable us to improve our current trading strategies and build new strategies to take advantage of these findings. We want to develop strategies which use technological advances (such as genetic programming and neural networks) so that we can expand the limits of algorithmic trading as much as possible. The exploration of new trading concepts is a very important part of Asirikuy, something which is bound to give us an edge in the long term as we develop knowledge around so-called "advanced" algorithmic trading techniques.

A Robust Expert Advisor Portfolio

The Asirikuy website also has a main goal the development of a portfolio for long term profitable trading in the forex market. One of our goals is to have many different automated trading systems which can work together in order to reduce the overall market exposure of our trading accounts. Analyzing different combinations of our systems and knowing which ones are likely to be good combinations for a robust portfolio is an important objective of this website.

To Build a Community

Another very important goal of the website is the building of a community around the concept of long term profitability using automated trading systems. Working together we will be able to achieve our goals faster. By having additional live trading results from website members under controlled trading conditions known as "challenge accounts" we will have the most thorougly tested and reliable trading systems available on the automated trading market.
